Most want to please others,
yet they say they don't care.
You say that because you care.
Self esteem deceives us,
so we are pinned to the ground,
struggling just to make things right.
It makes us want to please
those who will never budge.
Just how common
are people pleasers?
Is it rare, or more common than
any person can admit?
I will never understand either parties.
People Pleasers and
the People to be Pleased.
What's the difference,
and is there a middle?

Abraham Lincoln aid (or adapted it from a poet):
"You can please some of the people all of the time.
You can please all of the people some of the time.
But you can't please all of the people all of the time."
Just have to be you! lol.
That's a good question; Is there really an in between?
