Knossos

ModernBard

Multitasking’s not for me.

I struggle every time

Someone says to work on three

Or four things at a time.

To say it drives me crazy

Is to sorely understate it.

My mind gets awfully mazy,

So much I can’t relate it

To anything on firmer ground

Than one more fleeting thought.

I don’t see things or hear strange sounds,

But, still, it makes me hot

Cause I cannot control my lack

Of solid concentration.

And all it takes to make it slack

Is seeking penetration

Of any subject more complex

Than third-grade education.

I bite my tongue and force a hex—

A wicked incantation.
