I smile
smile through the rush of darkness
that spreads thick dispair
passion laced with desire
runs and hides away
I cry
cry in the face of the shadows
stream down cheeks leaving stains
magic turns to ash all around
blacker than the night
I laugh
laugh at danger as it stabs its knife
sliding down through air
between my lungs and the flow of blood
that runs through my veins

I'm a confused laddie with these 'Me, Myself, and I' poems that are on here. Is there 1,2, or 3 of ya?!
Bet ya knows the title of my next poem: 'Me, myself, and Kitty'! heehee.
Hahaha 😁 there's
Katie she's the creative one
kitty she's the naughty one
The wolf she's the young one
Hahaha .... me, myself and I
Hahahaha write it lol you have to now 🤣
Will Fido let me? He saves me from swooning if things get too 'hot'!
what a wonderfully poetic, self portrait
exuding defiance and sincerity
a wording
of that most essential
affirmation of self worth!
thanks for sharing, dear poet
