  When I saw the title of your poem, ‘Diphthong’, I remembered how challenging it was for me to learn English. (Sorry for digressing a bit.)
  
  • “Diphthong”
  ‘People are people
  —and a fool is but a fool’
  
  I wonder how many readers would have thought of that befitting title for your two line poem. IMO, not many. After all You are the master of your craft, my dear Poet.
  
  • “Drums Through The Bramble”
  ‘Atheist or Pagan
  contrast to compare
  the first in self-worship
  —the second aware’
  
  Flowing and smooth…a delight to read. I enjoyed the rhyme, rhythm and the contrasting and comparing of the subject matter. It took me to one of my favorite profession—teaching.
