My Brother Billy and Me

Moonflower15

Sometimes I wonder who you would be,

Another enemy, my best friend?

My brother Billy,

I like to imagine that we are inseparable,

My brother Billy, and me,

We share stories, laughter, hugs, and secrets,

Dispell fears, and displace each other’s sorrows,

My brother Billy, and me,

My protector, my friend, my heart,

Unconditional love between,

My brother Billy, and me,

But we are strangers whose paths never crossed,

My brother Billy, and me,

For you were called home into the universe,

before I ever came to be,

Oh but what a beautiful dream,

My brother Billy,

and me
