Confused Feelings

Jessi

You’ve got this pressure in your chest,

You’ve got this feeling,

Is it regret?

Kind of painful,

Also happy,

It’s so stressful,

But relaxing.

Are these tears of pride and joy?

Or are they the dark soul- eating ones on a face covered like a toy?

You’re eyes seem shining and sparkling madness,

Into the world of beautiful sadness.

What is it you want and you don’t know?

What is it you need and still doesn’t know?

What is it you desire?

For what or who are you going through fire?

Where is this sense you seem to follow,

In the times you weren’t hollow.

Is it still there?

This sparkling little light?

You can’t see it,

But you feel,

A magical little thrill.

Stand up and follow,

Until there’s nothing left but to swallow,

A loving feeling that turns up.

Shyness, sadness, regret and pain,

All this madness suddenly stop!

Take a moment.

Hear and feel.

You feel calm and suddenly real?

Keep it, hide it and lock it up,

So the world keeps turning around you and never stop!
