The Anointment

ModernBard

“Good enough for me!” I said

And headed for the door.

But not enough for Lee, he said:

“Nah. I want some more.”

My heart sunk so fast I thot

I’d just imploded.

I could feel my neck grow hot:

Lee’d the mob boss goaded!

But before I said a word,

Mickey gave a nod.

As my undies filled with turd,

I expected Rod

To crush my skull on point.

But this ne’er came to pass.

The nod was meant but to anoint

Lee’s bold and daring sass.
