All the girls in my life

F. L. Amaro

I have met many girls in my life:

the grateful and the soulless,

the misbehaved and the daunted,

the politicians and martyrs,

the sinful and the seemingly sinless,

all who I've grown to understand

they may have never been shed a light of love.

The bitter taste of "a hug from that man who created her"

-love;

The purple blow of "a gentle caress on her cheek"

-love;

The false safehood of "care after her crying

no, no, no," -love;

The wandering ghost of "being seen and heard"

-love.

To give them love that'll "Make them

whole again," is like coercing a thalassophic

to sail across the seas.
