A Letter to HOPE

wise.word.weilder

I hope you find your Hope through this letter of mine to Hope for everything you Hope for.

Also, I know there is a little more Hope here, so I hope you get what I hope to deliver.

*****

To Dear Hope,

Reflecting on my deeds,

While sitting on the other side of the screen.

Tap through the keys to create a phrase,

Deciding least now, I should reveal the case.

Allowing my mind to regulate the fingertips,

For the lost thoughts that ought an escape.

Now when I ask, how did I lose my domain?

I try to articulate, Ohh. Was that faulty inference?

Drove me to encounter this current situation,

Popped out of a spot known; to me and only me.

I sidestepped; realizing you stood there,

Eager to catch a single sight of mine.

I saw you through the peripheral vision,

Waiting; I might look at you by chance.

You must be wondering why I yielded to confess.

While you frantically dig for the person,

It was me initiating this immature conception.

Concealing you there for so long,

Dreading to give you words.

Assuming that you might alter; the tainted course.

That held my panorama as well as temporal.

It wasn't individuals' fault,

Voices were just fuel, and shots were proof,

To nothing massive,

But for this simple disastrous thought.

It Thrusts me to persist,

Even now, while I author this letter to you.

You happen to be there.

In the murky crossing of my reason,

Stretching to seek an escape,

Via one of the reflections; already on its course,

To locate a spot on the loaded display,

So, as to make the presence known evermore.

You must be wondering, after all these years,

Why do I decide to pen this to you?

When it was me who suppressed you,

Or,

Even when you are not ready to read or to attend.

But trust me; it becomes tough to comprehend when,

What others find painful to witness;

That is what I have to harbor through.

Please trust me on this,

It is effortless to impair than to apologize for the exact.

Occasionally, we have a lot to speak, hear, and consider,

What we don't learn is; How and whom to state.

When I try to find the reasons behind those concerns,

I wish I could have dragged you out a bit sooner.

That soiled place was more of absurd aggression,

To you and your mellow demeanor.

I understand the despair or the skepticism,

Trying to find you, hear you, and feel you;

Never be counted; as an apology after all.

You always deserved a chance, A RIGHT, not A FAVOR.

Never expecting to be excused merely,

Yet, I won't give up on lethal combat, that's all.

Just a simple view I would note,

Even the beast deserves a miracle;

Not always, but at least once in forever.

As time passed by, it drove me to concede,

There are things I'm comfortable sharing only with you.

So relax and enjoy the privilege that only you can have.

It is the sole reason why I'm doing this now.

Yes, HOPE; you are that miracle for me,

You have always been the one,

That's why I could hardly believe you.

Saying HOPE, I persuade instantly,

Each nerve loads with mingled sensations.

It offers a feel something better is on its way,

It possesses the courage to stop not.

To conclude the task, you are mid through.

It delivers a tiny little stake; you will make it next time.

Even Without knowing,

This letter of mine will reach you,

Or

Will it just get misplaced in the ocean of words?

Does it make any difference? While I write this letter to you.

Though knowing this truth,

Still, millions cite you.

I won't consider myself as a single dot of them.

But don't you think?

What we yearn for is what you have in your name.

You might not be able to read this letter of mine.

Does it make any difference?

Finally, what can we do?

Yes, HOPE; you are right.

WE HOPE FOR EVERYTHING TO BE ALRIGHT.

A single hope.

And,

Only  H  O   P    E.

Yours truly,

  • Comment from author about the poem: Hello lovely readers, This letter is one of the longest ones that I have ever written, so I request you to stay with me till the end. I wrote this one a few years back, tumbled on it yesterday, and felt like posting. So here I'm uploading it today. It personifies HOPE as you are in conversation with it; also as a person to trust or as your well-wisher. It can also be something that brings good vibes along. You are unrestricted to envision it as you like, and I will be astonished to read the different prospects this letter will open.
