Rainbow

Black hole

I heard Time
Whispering into my ears
Saying he's flying
To the rainbow

He likes variation
New color matches
Some will disappear
New ones will come
The old color palette had its time
Doesn't care
About the intertwined emotions
No
He erases it like dust
Like no one cares

But we do
We loved the colors we had
Seeing it everyday we get up
Or maybe it's a color
Hidden in the rainbow
You only see it once in a while
But still
One you cared for
The one you would die for
One that shouldn't be erased
A color that needs to stay
Forever..

Because of all the happiness it brought
A home where you could stay
Gave you warmth like a fireplace
A person to hug
In tough times

Now
There's a new rainbow
One I maybe don't like
But the old rainbow
Will
Never be forgotten
Maybe you can't see it
But it still lives in your heart

a poetic expression of the diverse palette
that those gifted relationships in our lives, represent
    even, in their absence..
love the gentleness in your wording
    thanks for sharing
