lost in this silhouette that's called life
not really living and not dying at all
stuck in perpetual motion
Shadows play keep away with heartbeats
trampled over in the darkness
always camouflaged in no light
My lost love and heartbeat alike
trapped in the eternal state numbness
bound forever more

Good write Katie.
I'm Kitty obsessed - she's not looking too well today, going by that pic! lol.
'lost in this silhouette that's called life'
have you been reading Nietzsche? by any chance...
(a great write!
on many relatable levels
thanks for sharing, dear Poet)
I'm so glad to read in your note that this is only fiction Katie. It has a bleek feeling to it,.. For me anyway. It brings images of someone with the misfortune of being in a vegetative state. "Not living nor dyeing, stuck in perpetual motion. Trapped in the state of eternal numbness, bound forever more." Very sad. Ok,hope all is well, cheersπ·π·πΉππ
