Motherland

ryan

I have to die for it,

I have to live for it

That's my fate, that's destiny

The true destiny of every soldier like me

Autumn, spring, season other

I have to work for my mother

That's my fate, that's the destiny

I want to protect this land as long as I live

Even if I die, i will see over it.

I maybe not a hero of my land

But I am a child of my land

I want to shield it as long as I can

That's a destiny, that's the fate I want to bear.

I do not walk unknowing the risk upon the way, as I know

My mother travels with me every day.

Sand, land and others too is my mother who is dear.

I have to die for it,

I have to live for it

That's a fate, that's the destiny I want to bear.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This was my very first poem. I wrote it when I was 12. I am still a very inexperienced poet or writer but I hope that you will express your opinions.๐Ÿ™‚

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your thoughts
          no, you Do NOT
          Have TO
          anything...
          You get to chose!
          always
          you get A choice!
          'in my humble opinion'
          but still, I can appreciate
          how impassioned this poem, reads
          thanks for sharing
