Angry Flower

Alexander Pope III

To your utter dismay

I failed to do as you say

Tell me the price I have to pay

But please do not show me the doorway

It is not a foul play

I will again acknowledge over me your total sway

Come what may

As ruler of my mind’s kingdom, my plight also you please weigh

There does not go a day

When I do not desire to hear what you say

My mind is darkness, you are its sunray

Kindly find some midway

I just do not want to be a strange flower

entertaining  for you, for others  sweet & sour

You very well know twin prosecutors’ power

In a quarter-hour, me they will overpower

Your wish is Supreme for my mind’s army

But when I will stand as  accused, will you be my Attorney

Once there, I do not fear if it is stormy

I only fear you turning in my matter , Prosecuting attorney

In matters of heart, I am not heartless

As without your presence , I am surrounded by darkness

But you know I am tactless

You are my direction and I do not want to be compassless

Word in my poems bloom like a flower

When longing for you I fail to overpower

You are my first and last desire

My mind and heart, you always set on fire

Iciest winter could not knock me

I was warm with your thoughts with zero energy fee

I will climb, when you are a mountain, I will swim, when you change to sea

To your every condition, I can only agree

So do not go on an anger spree

I will surely execute your decree

My flames for you are higher than a flame tree

I love you my flower even if you are not anger free

I gaze into the doorway of temptation's angry flame...
And every time I pass that way I always hear my name.. says the poet of flames!
