2010’s the decade of personal growth

The decade I matured as a person

The rollercoaster of a ride soaring through the 2010’s

I have enjoyed this decade as it has marked my journey through the torture, the misery but also given me moments of admiration fulfilment & edging closer to my dreams.

 

A time period in which I’ve learnt so much about diversity

The decade I began secondary school, college and university

I’m thankful for all this decade informed me

 

I started off as a innocent & captivated child finishing the 10’s with wider knowledge & understanding, along with gaining wisdom

I’ve had rough times but I’ve also created some gleaming memories

 

Meeting thousands of new people which some became a blessing; whilst others a lesson

Venturing out of Britain for the first ever time

Enjoying adventures, new beginnings & plenty of smiles

 

The pain changed the person I am but I’m now stronger than I ever was

physical health problems & anxiety issues put a burden on me which I later put on my family

Self inflicted Injuries came to be, making it to a milestone of six years clean

Throwing the blade away & keeping up the streak was never easy but the power was engraved in my heart & implanted inside of my soul

 

This was the decade I attended my first ever concert,

the decade I found love and later lost it

That didn’t stop me from searching to find someone who will adore me & I will adore them

I found a partner, a partner for life Liverpool being champions of Europe is one of the reasons this decade will end on a high

 

I’ve lost this decade but I’ve also gained

I’ve lost friends & relationships

I’ve lost the innocence & naivety that I shown in 2010

I lost my handsome cat Rizla & my wonderful papa, may they continue to rest in peace

I’ve gained ability, accomplishments & precious memories

I’ve gained determination, willpower along with courage

I’ve gained important friendships & relationships with the kindest of people & animals

I’m so grateful for all the memories made

I’ve ridden the cherishing yet hazardous rollercoaster to the curtain of this decade
