Blood Pressure

Cprev_05

    “Blood Pressure”

    My chest tightens,

     I ball my fists,

    Stubborn tears threaten to escape,

    The temperature rises,

Something is clawing its way out

    It’s inevitable

    It’s erupting

    Jaw clenched,

    “I’m not weak,”

    My voice cracks.
