Serious Accident Happens in My Freezer

Makoto Maruyama

Big ice caught in my freezer entrance

The door cannot be closed

Cannot make ice cubes

Can't even freeze meats and fishes

I'm in trouble

Roubles fly away in paper scraps

Even though we can't fly in airplanes

Oublié ce qui s'est passé il y a 8 ans ? (Forgotten what happened 8 years ago ?)

No, Monna Lisa does not fly

Don't worry

The chickens were also frozen

And then completely melted

What the sad chickens!

Chickens don't fly

I’m very worried

bridging the past with the presesnt
    capturing the child worries
    within the poet's, adult voice
    encapsulating
    now, within a lifetime's expereince
    of strife...
    a visionary write, showcasing
the truly limitless utility of imagery
    in Poetry..
    'in my humble opinion'
    thanks for sharing, dear Poet
