This ineffable emptiness,
Will time allow it to augment or dwindle?
Listening to our favourite song,
thinking, how long will this desolation prolong?
Will everything ever be alright?
Can I have you back,
even if just for a jiffy?
Every midget evokes your image,
wishing you'd tell me,
Everything will be alright.
