Spring Day

mobskyllamolie

She was nothing but a lost traveller,

Treading across snowy tangled plane in the winter.

Her wandering soul aimed far of places to uncover,

When her eyes laid upon a golden yellow flower.

What a wonder!

A thriving beauty stood tall on a solid ground.

Sparkling with luster,

Its serenity held a captive bound.

Her heart quivered from the soft delicate touch when she'd gone near,

A taste of water that quenched her thirst on a long winding journey to the dessert,

While soul trembled from bloodless battles that made her emptier.

She bled upon the shivers of its body when they assert.

An unobtainable wealth against her will;

The greatest crime she could never perfect,

When its a judge capable of a harsh verdict.

So, he remained as her lost winter daffodil.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I adore this amazing human for 5 years now. His part of the lgbtq+. His everything from a gentleman to an angel while I am a nobody. But I never dream of being with him. Seeing him be successful and happy with life and his boyfriend is all I ever wish for him. Have you ever love someone like I do?

    (what a beautiful dedication
    thank you for sharing and inspiring
    my little scribbled reply)
    'loving, is having the ability to let go
    and watch
    as those feeling's, evolve
    and cement
    in-to something tangible
    you can realistically, utilise
    in your everyday life;
    love is an onion, and its layers
    our gifts
    inclusive of teary eyed and heartfelt smiles'...
