This don’t make sense none to me.
I know that most folks would agree.
What we’re seeing now is disturbing,
So much so that it is perturbing
The earth and the air and the water—
To me the OG alma mater!
And meanwhile the stars go on twinkling,
Not one of them having an inkling.

yes, confusing
not sure if we're watching
history's mistakes being repeated
or getting a foreshadowing glimpse
of what our children's futures, entail
maybe even both, simultaneously
...
so yeah, this don't make sense to me, either
hela confusing! do we run away
from a past
or slow down, to distance
from that ill-destined, devastation
we're galloping towards...
