El Pigaloo

el.pigaloo

Now Pigaloo is just like you. A kind, caring chap who everyone knew.

He seemed perfect in every way, as bright as the sun on a cloudy day.

But Pigaloo had a secret that no one could see. Pigaloo was in love with Pigalee.

Pigalee was a beautiful young pig. Hair so shiny she didn’t need any wig.

Her smile so bright it could light up the night sky. But every other pig she would always deny.

Every night Pigaloo would debate, whether he should ask her out on a date.

But alas Pigaloo was always to scared, so Pigalee never knew that he cared.

But Pigalee had a secret too. Pigalee was in love with Pigaloo.

Who could not fall in love with such a handsome chap. She had fallen into his wonderous trap.

Eventually Pigalee couldn’t wait no more, she set her eyes on someone she couldn’t ignore.

Pigalot was an arrogant young man, but he had the looks of a fresh young ham.

Pigalot wanted the best of the best and Pigalee was better than the rest.

But Pigalot was braver then Pigaloo, so he invited Pigalee to see the cow’s moo.

That day the cow show that Pigaloo went to see,

He got the shock of his life when he saw Pigalot and Pigalee.

Heartbroken Pigaloo ran all the way home. His one shot at Pigalee he had blown,

He knew he shouldn’t have waited so long to ask, Pigalee was know, out of his grasp,

He went upstairs to cry in his bed. He thought he would be lonely till he was dead,

But then one fateful day Pigalette from a nearby farm came to stay,

Her hair was shinier that Pigalee, she was prettier that she could ever be,

So Pigalot could not settle for second, his amazing life with Pigalette beckoned,

So, he went to Pigalette on the spot, he left Pigalee to sit and rot,

Pigalee cried her eyes out that day, what a sad end to the month of May,

But deep down Pigalot was not for her she knew, the special man was Pigaloo,

Now Pigaloo had heard of Pigalot’s betrayal, so he decided this time he would not fail.

He snuck into his dad’s room and stole a bowtie and swore that this time he wouldn’t be shy.

He marched up to Pigalee, sitting forlorn on a bench and with his heart in his throat, he took a deep breath and said,

“Um hi, Pigalee, would you do the honours of going on a date with me?”

Pigalee looked up, a smile on her face, she said, “Pigaloo, of course I’ll go on a date.”

And from that day, the two were always together, they loved each other no matter the weather,

And so, the two pigs loved each other non-stop until the day they became pork chops.

Now learn from Pigalee to never be shy,

Now go up there and get your guy!
