Sorceress and the puppet

kitty the naughty poet

There's a belief my sorceress Queen

if you bring me to life I can

do your bidding'

the whisper crept through her long silver hair

'Very true... here is a spell that will do...

but do tell me... what can you do for me

that I can't do myself'

her lips pursed at the wooden unmoving puppet

sat upright in the stream of moonlight

'I will disable your enemies

      my treacherous Queen

or spy if you give me a drop of your blood to drink'

Secret whispers flow to the sorceress's mind

placing a finger over its lips the Queen

replied in her softest voice...

'Hush little puppet

    It will soon be done

        I give you my flesh

                & we will be one...'

she chanted while stirring the pot

clockwise then anticlockwise & back again

enchanting the puppet with her anointed blood...

'I give you permission... my treacherous puppet

to creep into the dreams of my enemies

and show them what it means to

    mess with the Sorceress Queen!'

    Enjoyed this Literary Piece.

Makes me think of a Dark Kingdom/Realm ruled by the Sorceress Queen forever entombed in Night and Moonlight with spies for her always in the shadows lurking about and reporting to her.
I take my hat off to you for a very Imaginative and Evocative Literary Piece.
