Like the sky

Jem

When I look at how he lives, I envy the sky for seeing it more than me. I saw how he struggled for comfort yet waited for the moment that he'll be able to breathe. I saw him kiss the ground yet sustained his dignity like a broken victor. I saw him grasp for air when suffocated by the wind but never denied how it has been there since he suffered.

Now that I know how he's a man, I think of becoming the sky. To watch and love him like the stars that I hugged eternally above.
