In No Sense

ModernBard

You are speaking of such things that I

Have not heard so bluntly broached.

Can it be “Oh, Me!” or “My!”

Is a fiction I was coached?

Can it be that innocence

Is an act easily feigned?

But like rank belligerence

It imposes, pure and plain,

The burden of pretending

We are each of us so shocked

Even tho we’ve all been trending

The same damn videos on TikTok.

    that
    'rank belligerence'
    of hollow
    societal protocol, absurdity
(really enjoyed your dry wit in this one
    thanks for sharing)
