Only One Light

Elizabeth Vitale Stories

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light

Only one light to see my way
Only one light to shine on me
Only one light

And I can't understand
I can't hear why only one light

When your thought I became real
When you were once true
When you should appear now
No further there may I need

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light

And I can't understand
I can't hear why only one light

Only one light to see my way
Only one light to shine on me
Only one light

Would somebody get more lights for Elizabeth? Maybe a flood light will do. I liked this poem. Thank you for sharing it with us.
