THE PAIN

PAIN

 

It can only come to those who feel it

Not that we can’t conquer or salvage it

But over and over again, we still see it;

Written out in our actions and mood

It can’t hurt you against your will

But it can pierce your soul against your wish.

Unfathomable Pain!

 

Even if we try we can’t run away from it

It haunts us in and out of season

And only the brave of heart can weather the pains;

Even the strong might alter his firm principles

Shattering the innermost defense of a warrior

Rendering the learned vulnerable to depression.

Haunting Pain!!

 

Trying to fix ourselves seems had to recover

From the memories we shared that made us cry;

Destabilizing our whole being, shaking our souls

We might have sworn never to remember the pains

But we continually live with its sore aftermath daily

And we surely cannot let go of it so easily.

Perfect Pain!!!

 

To survive the pains; try living out the memories

Remembering not the past mistakes haunting you;

While bearing in mind that the future holds better memories for you.
