Path

zhangyuyouyu

Held my hand

and led the way

from birth

Tripped over pebbles

My first fall

You helped me back up

I walk alone

you follow behind closely

I quicken my steps

wanting to run away from you

I fell over stones

I stumble over myself

I made some friends

They lent me a helping hand

I learnt to read the signs

to choose my own path

Stop holding me back

cordoning off the area

When I know which path I want to go

and which final destination I am heading

That will make me skip with joy

When you are gone

    Fly, fly away.
Though I like the idea of popping back for the free meal now and again. Just to check, mind you.
