All I did was ask a simple question and I was almost crucified by words....

_______________________________________

Bitter, crying, battered & broken,
Living through words secretly unspoken.
Cringing at the thought of lonely despair,
Never showing the pain of not having him there.
Smiling in the face of life's ugly demise,
Ever so slowly she's breaking inside.
Enclosing herself in a tattered shell,
Living alone in her personal hell.
Standing to lose him all together,
She bottles it up, silent forever.
For if she speaks those heart wrenching words,
Deep in her dungeon her fate will lurk.
So she lives through the temporary, blissful high,
And hopes he never sees the pain in her eyes.
