ladybug husk in a web

Jon Nakapalau

moved by the soft breeze

i notice your bright orange wings have faded to dull cinnabar
spring now over for you

a summer forever lost is now yours
no spider to be seen in tattered manipulation

you fall to the earth with my touch.
