Just A Little Rock Going Through Arkansas

I just left Mississippi,
My old truck, I traded in.
So now I will blow,
through Arkansas,
in my used Harley Davidson.
I'll try to pass all the cities,
so I can try to blend in.
Why is there so much,
wind in my face?
Oh wait, I knew I forgot something;
my helmet.
Still, the state,
gets prettier and prettier,
as the ride enhances.
... but I cannot stay,
in Arkansas forever.
I need to get to Kansas.
Oh wait, I can't find my map.
I meant to say Missouri.
I hope I don't,
end up in New York,
even though I'm not in a hurry.
Ah! No need to worry.
I said never mind.
I see it.
'Welcome To Missouri,
You Are Now Crossing The State Line'.

On your way through Missouri, obey the state laws,
My love don't get pulled over, and give the police cause,
If you do,be polite and say yes and no sir,
Just get through the state, just not in a blur,
With everything going on,we really don't need jail,
Don't want to be arrested, and can't afford bail,

Around and around we go
I'm not sure if you know
We are now in Oklahoma
I didn't wat to fight
But we should have turned right
I forgot you've got glaucoma.

We go on to New Mexico
In search of adventures
We do not know
We'll continue on
To setting sun
Arizona or Nevada
Here we come

I dream Las Vegas and all that I could win, when I look in my rear view mirror and what do I see, flashing lights and they’re coming after me. So out of my fantasy and let’s back to reality, I try to look presentable for the Officer to be, yes Sir, no Sir I’ll keep the speed to 65, thank you sir and I’ ll never do it again.
So off I go with a warning not to speed, I keep looking in my rear view mirror, and I think I lost them, so on I go I put the petal to the middle and down the road to California I go.

You made it to California,be careful it's a tough state,
Your one state from Oregon, and can't hardly wait,
To get to your wife and take her in your arms,
Better pay attention to the road instead of dreaming about her charms,
Just across the state line,in primm, Nevada, still got a ways to go,
To excited to stop and rest, better take it slow
