Grief, Its A Funny Thing, Huh?

transprodigalson

The child in me screams,

He screams until he chokes.

Never-ending when you were leaving,

Never-ending, even when he's heaving.

You were my best friend;

The man I saw as G-d.

But now you're dead,

And his screaming never ends.
