The Johnson Cottage Shackled Spirits

voices of ghosts

The Johnson Cottage Shackled Spirits

May 4, 20018, we are heading north

to a small farming community

on the outskirts of Springville

we received a phone call about a

possible haunted Bed and Breakfast  Hotel

to be exact the only one in town,

family owned & operated since the early 1800's

established by John & Catherine Johnson

the Johnson Cottage is a very popular

vacation destination for couples wanting to retreat from the daily rat race of the city

with a well earned reputation & attention to detail

it was all good, until the dead body of Marietta Creel was found in room 6

earlier this same year, apparently autopsy revealed an "undetermined cause of death "

for which the Cottage has undergone

heavy duty litigation, but not only that,

the employees began reporting strange happenings

in room 6, even prior  to Marietta's death

like strong smells emanating from the room

weird sounds & a general heaviness  when entering  the room for daily maintenance

hearsay goes its "devil possessed" 'others think its the ghosts of the late Johnsons

nonetheless, nearing the conclusion of our investigation

we did discover the Cottage used to be a slave plantation in its early prime

it's alleged Mr.Johnson had killed several of the men, in an attempt to cover his affairs with the "women of color"

we couldn't pick up on any "real devil'

what we did find was a gruesome history of what still goes on in our global societies

prejudices, racism & violations to our inherent human rights

these are the never ending demons that haunt small minds
