A simple word

A deeper meaning

Never once does it mean

What you are thinking

 

Memories come alive

With nothing to share

Make it stop now

No more can I bear

 

Broken down

With no one here

Left with all my thoughts

And everything I fear

 

The voice is back

It won't let me be

It won't let me focus

The voice hounds me!

 

Breathing slowly

Back to reality

I am still here

I am not a fatality
