What Was That Dream Again?

StarL07

The forgotten time, vague and blurry,
Coated by the curtains of reality

Purple grass and upside-down trees,
Endless fields, deserts and seas,
The empty feeling of traversing worlds
Back to where I wake up daily

Distant sounds, close-up whispers
Somewhat familiar screams.
Even the desire to never forget
Cannot unveil a dream

I try to go back, try to remember,
Try to return to a world created
By none other than me.

'The empty feeling of traversing worlds
Back to where I wake up daily

    Distant sounds, close-up whispers
    Somewhat familiar screams.
Even the desire to never forget
    Cannot unveil a dream'..
    under 'life weary'
    in the dictionary
    your words should appear..
    (such a relatable, depiction
    astute imagery
    and such seamless, poetic flow)
a great read! thanks for sharing
    stay strong, dear poet
