Let me vent

kayewaye

Mind on a thousand

With so much to say

I think

I need some one to vent to

So much shit built up

I can feel my soul finna explode

I think

I need some one to vent to

Some one I can talk to

for hrs and hrs

Tell them everything that’s built inside of me

Just need some one to vibe with

Tired of being the Warrior

With the world on my back

They say every beast needs his peace too

So caught up in the bull shit

I forgot how it felt

Just to have some one to talk to

Talking to the voices in my head

Cause they the only ones who understands

Life and all its challenges

I think

I need some to vent to

Just need a ear

With out being judge

Need a shoulder

With out holding a grudge

Just need to hear some real advice

And the words

Everything’s going be alright

Playing Russian Roulette in my head

Having someone to vent to

Might be the only reason I’m not dead

Steady trying to figure out

All these lil voices in my head

They say let it out don’t fight it

But if I truly let it out

I swear they will regret

Every word I speak

Cause when I speak my truth

I promise it want be nothing nice

So caught up in these fucked up ways

Wait

Hold on pause

I really need someone to vent to

    you can always, choose Poesy..
    for me, its
    that one anchor of solace
    which never judges..
it allows me to ink - out
    all my worries
    before they fester
    into something, uglier
    and then, I read
    a few poems and heed
    a few ounces of wisdom
    and between the two
    I find, Poesy
has inked a path for me
    to grasp on - to...
    (stay strong, dear Poet
utilise your art and empower yourself
    lean on those skilful, tools
    you have, at your fingertips...)
