I come across as a cheating boy
Playing with feeling as if these are my toy
All accusations I too enjoy
Am I the only one, whom friends want to destroy
I am a bad liar
I show my desire
I openly play with fire
And you want me to retire
I am not a perfect person
But I am my best version
I am hardly disturbed by aspersion
But I am not open to any conversion
You declare someone as a reason
Whom my eyes search in every season
You also see my heart lesion
And declare me a heathen
You are true, I forgot everyone else
And I don’t care about anything else
I became a vein and she became my pulse
All my friends, I repulse
From her first look, she owns my heart
For thirty years she played an imaginary part
She is my only sweetheart
In my life, she has no counterpart
I will lie if I say she is not my weakness
I love her uniqueness
With her I experience deepness
No one is parallel to her in sweetness
You think all this wrong as I walked down the aisle
And I betrayed myself over her wink and smile
Yes her style and looks expand my heart to the square mile
She is the only one I find worthwhile
I never worked for my sacred union to survive
I was no one’s husband and no one was my wife
It was like living different lives
You may check all my mind archive
I never gained her love or respect
But I choose to never suspect
All the hatred she kept
With crocodile tears, she wept
I don’t blame her
She played the role of babysitter
The marital spark never occurred
We were never each other’s preferred
So my life was an empty road
Bad feelings were only heavy load
Before I rediscovered my god
Kindly never think my love as odd

well penned and what a message, I suspect this goes on more than often, but its part of soul evolution, as most of us know life is not perfect, we grow and keep moving on...enjoyed...Dahlia
Thanks a lot Dahlia Vitalia
I think it takes courage to look in the mirror of self reflection, which I believe you have done in this poem, and see clearly. I love the honesty and openness of this piece penned by one who is truly introspective. Well done!
