Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke

Notice of absence from Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
I will surely get back to you when I come online.

The world is mad
Many a conscience
dead,
Animals are humane,
Than man.

Our roads are traps
Where unknown idiots
Walk shoulder high
With talking rifles
Searching for souls to waste.

Man has ceased to be man
Man a living beast,
Animals are bruteless
Than man,
In their kingdoms, love their garments.

Man a cannibal of doom
Soon many streets
Will be deserted,
Skirts and trousers
Are wasted like chickens.

Southeast like Sambisa
Unknown gun men
Have visited the land,
Rifles of protest,
Now the weapon of wickedness.

How did we get here?
Humans have lost her humanity
Beasts walk in trousers,
Tasty for blood,
Blood of the innocents.

Chukwu Okike
Is not asleep,
Come now before we perish
Wickedness dwells
In our streets.
