The Sinner

joslouis

I always contemplate about what I did

The past was really dark

It will always haunt me ever after

Where do I belong then?

Nobody?

Maybe there is somebody

I believe in hope

I am the sinner who lets people down

I am the sinner who brings people down

I am the sinner who once lost his mind

I am the sinner who brings trouble

My silence is dangerous

But I forgive and so do you

That is the only thing I hope to deserve

If you believe in the Lord, you are forgiven,if you ask for forgiveness,

    Great piece

      You can say that again.

    • L. B. Mek

      the power of forgiveness
      is not only for those
      'who believe, in the Lord'
the one's preaching, such a distortion
      of their own Dogma
      need that forgiveness, the most..
      (simply
      strive, to do better
      learn, contemplate
      your mistakes
      heed, wiser free thinking minds
      and allow yourself
      that same, second chance
the dawning of a new day
      affords, All
      of us...!)
      loved your poems, empowering message
      thanks for sharing, dear poet
