Spring Adventures

Annemarie

Tiny hands

folding newspaper boats,

stream running,

wind blowing,

sun’s reflection flashing brightly,

rosy cheeks

Tiny hands

pitter-pattering into the stream,

Tiny hands setting in newspaper boats,

lungs breathing in cold air,

exhilerating

Tiny hands

zipping up hoodies,

splashes and plunks

Tiny hands,

let’s build a raft

like Tom Sawyer

and

Huck Finn

Nice image of simple joys that children can bring to us if we take the time to notice.
