Mind Games

Felicityjones

You only want me when you miss me.

Quit trying to fool me with all the compliments and the kissing.

No, I’m never going back, so I’ll just pack my crap and walk away.

I don’t want to stay another moment.

Watching our love drift and decay was more than enough.

So you can trick me all you want with your mind games.

I’ll just continuously remember you calling me names.

Nothing has ever been the same since we married, and I’m ashamed that it was your last name I carried.

It was your last chance you blew after blowing up.

Now I am not so blind and I’m growing up.
