Just a draft.

LukeCurcio

If we rewrote the script, our story would have a chance.

Just keep the characters the same.

Just give them a different opportunity.

Rearrange their positions.

Then we'd be close to each other.

But for now, we'll just play our roles.

We'll just keep our space.

But look in our eyes and you'll see our story.

Watch us stare, glance, or gaze at each other.

There's our unwritten story.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is for the untold love stories. Those who have mutual feelings but cannot act on them. But both know and feel the possibilities, and if things were different, under different circumstances, their story would be told.
