What if imperfections could heal?

Sophenia

What if we could heal each other with our own imperfections

Would you risk your own pride?

Making more meaningful connections

Without having parts of yourself to hide

Would you dare to feel fully naked

In order to save human kind?

Our imperfections are created

To heal those who feel behind

Do you know, I think we already do that here on mps.

Reading other folks poetry here has certainly been a great help and a lift for me.

  • Sophenia

Yes!!! You're absolutely right! I'm glad that reading poetry here lifts you up. Thank you for your comment!

    well, yes sharing ourselves openly
    can definitely help
but if you want nudity, give me a few months
    to prepare, please
need to get back in the gym
    I mean
    we don't want people
    having heart attacks, from shock...
    lol
    (I'm just trying to say
    sometimes, too much openness
    can be toxic
    we gotta be self-aware, enough
    to realise
    not everyone thinks like us
    and that's ok..)
    thanks for sharing, dear poet

I get what you mean! I would love to be really open with everyone, but like you said not everyone is ready for that. Thank you!
