The Pain of The Quiet

Jenna

Seeing the lips of the one you know you can’t have,

longing to feel the warmth of their body against yours,

admiring the natural grace in their every move

and the subtleness of their smile when they laugh.

The torture your heart endures as you watch them touch another,

jealous of the one you can’t replace.

There are many types of pain in this world,

this however,

is the pain of the quiet.

Yes, probably one of the worse pains.

I've felt that pain before, before I was married. It's the worst of the worst!! Well said!
