Void ridden longing

A.B. Jakobsen

Let my yearn be given meaning

I beg take heed to my keening

For in a space of distant cacophonies

My echo is all that myself accompanies

I seek my comfort in philosophical iridescence

But the void remains ever unchanged

To float away in my own acquiescence

With the universe I have my ideas exchanged

And lay mine restless aimless longing to peace

In the grave adorned with resplendent cerise
