I'm Perfectly Fine

Daves Bloke Poems

I've had this water in my eye for an hour.
But I guess it's just some pollen from a flower.
I'm feeling better though sitting clothed in the shower.

My heart has been feeling tight.
But I guess I just need an early night.
I'm feeling much better now that I've turned off the light.

My body feels battered and beaten.
But I guess it's just something bad I've eaten.
It just feels better using the floorboards as seating.

I keep looking around like there's something I've lost.
But I'm looking so much I fear for the cost.
Even the sunlight feels just like frost.
