Unjustly Criminal

chella

You promised that I would be godmother to your child.
And silly me believed the false promises that came out of your mouth with a smile.
I dreamt of the day that I'd walk down the aisle, not with you by my side, but you'd be there with me rocking your favorite style.
Yet, you lied, and I feel like an imbecile.
I did not know you were such a criminal.
You're unforgivable; like the wind whizzing through the trees, rustling leaves disappeared, leaving me numb to the bone.
I yowled in agony when they told me that you drowned.
You died, and I accused you of a felony.
I branded you a criminal when your circumstance was critical.
Yet, no miracle could save your life.

A lovely representation of emotions. Yes, as humans, we are all prey to misunderstandings. But still, some exits do leave a dent in our soul for which we can never make ourselves ready and takes a lot to set in. 😇

    damn, just reading this write
weakened the cracks in my heart
and I have no clue, who its about
    ..
just so much misery, in our everyday
I'm so sorry, for what you may have experienced
to birth these morose words within you..
but still, I thank you for sharing
    bravely!
    and letting someone else know
    they're not alone..
(your sincerity hits like a sledgehammer
to those who read these words and empathise)
