  • Comment from author about the poem: This piece is actually a verse taken from Joshua 1:9 in the Bible. Joshua had just been commissioned by the Lord to lead the Hebrews. Joshua had no idea what kind of leader that he would be. Still, the Lord told Joshua to be strong and of good courage. Be strong my friends. Be of good courage. Follow God; not the world. Stay up, and keep your cholesterol down. Persistence is key
