BURDEN OF LIFE

ericjwolf28

Why do I hurt, why do I feel pain?

Why can't I find the right path, too many to choose, everyone leading a different way?

Why is the sky so dark?

When will the sun rise?

Why can't I see, where is the light?

Why do I stumble?

Why doesn't anyone pick me up when I fall?

Why do I bleed, my strength slowly leaving my body?

Am I human, or something else, who knows?

When will I pass this test?

Why do the birds hover above, waiting for me to collapse?

NO!

I will survive, I will walk my own path, leading me to the light.

I will not give up, I will push through and fight to see the sun shine through the dark.

HERE I GO!

One foot in front of the other, down the path chosen for me.

I will look up and receive strength to walk the path leading to my destiny.

Open the door, turn the knob.

HERE I GO!

The journey begins in the dark leading to the light.

    thanks for sharing

  • dusk arising

A great message for life because we all have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and get started again several times in life.
A timely reminder for yours truly to do just that.
I like this and pleased to have it among my favourites.
