Today

Nature awakes rejoicing in peace

breathing life from the sun

birds, butterflies and flowers, at ease

praising this holy day in unison

It is indeed a beautiful day. How sad though that gods children are fighting and some murdering and raping in Ukraine.

Hello, well in my opinion those that are fighting, murdering and raping in the Ukraine and or in any other part of the world, have a choice and they made it. My sincere thanks for reading my words.

Yes, the painful irony of your sweet little poem is hard to ignore these days. Here in Texas I weep for the homeless immigrants from Latin America and all over the world--Syria, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Yemen, you name it, who are talked about among lovers of a certain former president like they are vermin gnawing at the door. Maybe I'm wandering off the path of a proper comment here, but I guess I wanted to say something. For good or ill your poem moved me today! Thank you.

Hello, I sense the pain in your heart, leave all worries to the universe, it has a magical way to correct itself, it always has, thank you for expressing yourself authentically. My sincere thanks for reading my words and I am glad the poem was positive to your soul.... tchau....Cassia DeSousa
