Within hope’s solace
And
Empathy’s mercy
There is yet Grace
In our fallible humanity!
I wish you a field of Dandelions
In your dreams, every night
May you blow your wishes
Into realisable tangibility!
And
In doing-so, find
That spark of innate sublime
Distilling life’s nurturing beauty
From within your experience
Of thorn pebbled, existence
Refute those trappings of hate
Release your fears and regrets
Reassure that trusting heart
Choose humility’s, bravery
Choose, kindness as your legacy!

I can’t help but bring nature into my writings ..
So much positivity and filled with hope !!
Great lines..
Choose humility’s, bravery
Choose, kindness as your legacy!
Humility's bravery, wonderful comparison. There is for sure bravery hidden in Humility, as it take to be very brave to be humble.
Kindness as legacy ! Omg , totally impressed me !!
Thanks dear Poet !!
Awesome!
what vibrant words of encouragement
you've chosen to gift me, humbly
I thank you, dear Poet
Isn't that hate so tangible, as we see in Ukraine. One man's hate for a country, and the outcome that brings.
There's a fine line between love and hate, and maybe that's why the two words always stand side by side.
so much hate, fuelled by distortion
in people's, entitled assumptions
of love..
that certain, failed artist
did what he did, born out of national pride
and a zealot, need
for revenge for those who savaged his art..
in his mind, it got warped
and he made history, showcasing
that potential, for limitless inhumanity
we all, are capable of
if we're not careful with our choices and words..
(but there is yet hope for us, I think
we still grasp empathy's reins
when we can
and that's been enough, so far
to recalibrate, humanity's trajectory
of wanton
self: distraction)
Oh those poor dandelions, for i shall be forever blowing them in my dreams now in the hope of finding the morning has brought to my plate the gift of meekness.
the 'will to power'
to be that 'Uberman', solving the worlds problems
single-handedly
is an enticing, prospect
its just that, most times
when inevitably, those over ambitious
high aspirations, fail
there is bitterness, that takes place
in those once, strong willed hearts and minds
and from that bitterness, is born
a perspective
where our fellow humans, become 'They'
and we consider ourselves, 'Us'
the rest
is a well known, slippery slope
of thoughts, words and actions
that insight, hate...
indeed, 'meekness'
may seem, pathetic
to some
but in it's, humility
and compassionate empathy, exists
what may be
our only tangible hope
for ending humanity's cyclical need
to destroy, and murder
in the name of progress and power..
Such a shame. Where is the "we".

A truly beautiful poem and metaphor full of reassuring wisdom. Aside from the great image of a field of wish fulfilling dandelions, the last stanza packed more power and glory to the poem. I not only loved this piece it set the tone for my day. Thank you for sharing.
'it set the tone for my day.'
what a phrasing, of praise
I am so genuinely, grateful
you so fit, to gift me these words
that, in turn
have made my morning
so very bright and sweet..
humbly, I thank you! dear Poet
