They’re not just days.

LukeCurcio

30 days. But they're just days.

In 7 days will mark your departure. When your heart stopped.

In 30 days our new life will start. My wife's heart will start.

Your husband lay on your chest, hearing your final beats.

When I lay on my Fiancée, I hear yours through hers.

"Till death do us part."

I just didn't know that starts with "I do."

  • Comment from author about the poem: In 30 days I’ll be married. And in 7 days, it will mark the time my sister’s heart stopped beating (April 25). Three days later she officially passed. Her husband lay on her chest hearing her final beats. I remember that every time I lay on my fiancée’s chest. As I draw closer to my wedding, I remember my sisters wedding, and her life to the end.
